Passing thought; Trump goes to Prison:
Surprise, he wont.
Former Presidents are entitled to protection details provided by the Secret Service, and the only way that would end would be through a Presidential Executive Order, which is highly unlikely to happen whoever is in the WH att he time, but the only other way to remove said protection detail would be an act of congress, and just imagine the likelyhood of Republicans voting to remove Trumps detail.

So the best we can hope for if Trump is convicted and sentenced to 'prison', will be that he is put under house arrest, and a detail provided my a joint task force of Secret Service and the US Marshals office will stand guard over Trump as he lives out his life in the Golf resort of his choice. But he wont be able to leave, and he will be severally limited on who is on his guest list.

@WeThePeople there are private prisons and protected units. Also federal prisons are much different than state ones. Federal prisons are nicer. They have more programs and they also have in 80% minimum mandatory on the time serve.
