I'm also autistic and have the same problems. I have an imaginary place that I go to when I'm all tensed up trying to sleep. It's a place with no people, just a river, wildlife, trees, grass, and a bench that serves also as a bed. I find that if I lay on that bed to sleep I calm down and get to sleep fast.

It's good that a remedy has been found but there are drawbacks. It has to be administered intravenously every fortnight, treatment has to begin as soon as Alzheimers is found (which is something the NHS isn't good at) and it has side effects like swelling of the brain.

CATS!!! Okay I love mine BUT my love is tested when one of them pees in a cardboard box I happened to stand on the worktop. And I only just noticed, but it seems it's been happening for a few days now.

Talking (online) to a British teacher, when the doorbell rang and I said to her "ask not for whom the bell tolls..." and she said HUH... she had no idea what I meant. And she's a teacher. Sigh.
