I pray this letter finds you well. The war does not go well for us. Gen. Pineapple's forces press us at every turn, and our olive supplies run low. We were reinforced by a battalion from the 5th Avocado Regt, but they proved soft, and didn't last the week. There are rumors of a counterattack from the 18th Canadian Bacon Division, but it may prove not enough. I cannot say more. The ovens are hot and we must move out. I remain ever yours. Emmet.

This war drags on, no end in sight. Last week we ran out of corn meal, and while still delectable our crusts just don't come out of the oven the same. The men put on a brave face about it, but I know it is beginning to weigh on their hearts.

I must away now. At dawn we advance on the dessert "pizza" rebels. Since our blockade they are low on insulin. God, I hope this is over soon.

It seems that a food item has been responsible for taking down one of the most popular social media sites
Counter.social was overrun by pizza fanatics and a #PizzaWar overloaded the servers. The site has been reduced to food posts and topping debates
Site admin and creator 'The Jester' was unavailable for comment as he was busy dining at 'Ribs R Us' when the war broke out
We do have some intel on who started the war and investigations are ongoing
