The best way to make it useless is to delete as much of that as you can: remove follows and followers and delete response-tweets; stop 'liking' posts.

It's especially the high-profile people who pride themselves on their huge numbers of followers who need to be off your following list, because they *will* take notice when their follower numbers drop.

October 28th, 2022 will be known as the day died.

Most of the big blue checkmarks have left or stopped tweeting. Getting the occasional interaction, like or tweet from them was half the fun on that site. A lot of mainstream advertisers have already pulled their ads as well.

I'll probably keep my account there until it's made into a pay site, a site full of boring hate posts like 4chan or a troll site like the former Kiwifarms.
