@NorthernInvader after working in healthcare for decades my conclusion has been insurance companies create more problems than they solve.
They exist to #1 deny coverage #2 push low quality care #3 control industry pricing for their benefit not ours. #Healthcare

My late wife had travel health insurance and when she got very ill while visiting a friend in California, needed 5 day stay in ICU and then a medivac flight back here to Trail BC - the insurance company tried really hard to find a reason to deny the >$400K insurance claim. They were unsuccessful
