Over on the dead bird site I had 150 followers depart this past week - they've all chosen to go to another site that doesn't value their privacy significantly more than Twitter did. Gotta follow the herd it seems
@NorthernInvader Yeah, when I left there a couple of years ago, I alerted some of the folks I interacted with frequently that I was coming here. Lots said they would too, but most of them just stayed active there.
@NorthernInvader Yeah, I'm leaving TwitX, too. I don't think I'll go to SkyBird or BirdSky - whatever. I have a FB page for selling art and books, but basically, the social media sites are very similar...except CoSo, of course.
@NorthernInvader There's a post here today from @gshevlin that says BlueSky is being targeted by bots.
I'm going to wait a while and see what happens. I'm kind of sick of all this social media angst.
