Why, oh why, do they feel the need to make a system like this so "sterile" and "pretty." Aquaponics with fish have been in use for generations around the world.

My guess was that the light they use for their tiny "garden" is high UV.

If the grow lights are more or less standard, the UV is minimal.
Fish have eyes too.

At least that is what I would expect.
I don't understand the eyewear shown on the website at all.
