@publickovacs in 1974 I went through the teacher training PDP (Professional Development Program) at SFU. I quit with 2 weeks to go (10 weeks into my 3 month practicum) before getting a teaching certificate because I realised it absolutely was not for me as a career.
I have to agree: being an educator is a masochistic gene variation that some of us have

Too many “teachers” should come to that realization as well.
Teaching is not a job.
It’s a calling.
