Can’t sleep and roaming the internet you find the strangest things.
I worked for UOP School of Dentistry who staffed a County Clinic at this location throughout the ‘80s.
We had tons of homeless then too but they camped on the other side of the RR tracks mostly.
The park was affectionately known by SacPD as heroin park. The neighborhood was highly industrial so after 5pm the area emptied of workers and it got sketchy but many people “lived” there. #homelessness
