If you were foolish enough to plan a trip to Tahoe or Reno I’m relieved that you can’t go. Just get comfy and watch the storm from home.
I-80 is closed through the Sierra and DO NOT use apps to try to navigate around the closures!! You’ll probably get stuck and freeze to death. #NorCalWeather
I saw a bunch of interviews with stuck individuals who were claiming they had no idea there was a storm coming.
Ok. So you don't read or watch the news, you're not on social media, you don't check the weather before heading into the MOUNTAINS during WINTER, you ignore countless road signs warning you to chain up or turn back, you don't notice everyone at every gas station and restaurant talking about it, you ignore the warnings in your map app... etc.
Yeah, right. 🙄
@Agatha people like that shock me every time! They’re so dumb AND they’re on the road…it’s terrifying. Frankly I think most of them just didn’t believe the reports and think they’re the ones that get through.
Always funny to see guys in tank tops, shirts and flip flops trying to put chains on!! 😄
That's exactly it - they think they're special. They think they're such amazing drivers and that it's only everyone else on the road that's the problem. 🙄
