Boy the Sutter Buttes clearly stood out this am! They look so cool from above!!
And we could see snow on the mtn range west of there. Not sure the name of the range on the west side of the valley but they’re snow capped.
@Fda123 that sounds like a cool adventure. The only way up…without risking an encounter like that…is a guided hike. Treasures like that are cool!
@NorCalCherylLyn In my youth I climbed upon the top of the buttes where a long dormant Titan 2 nuclear missile silo laid. The rancher that owned the land chased us off in the night, but I did claim some treasur. (Old bolts and nuts cut off from the silo doors when they decommed it)
