@redenigma absolutely, that’s what I’m thinking!
He's like a slightly updated version of Joe Lieberman. A right-wing crank in disguise.
@BenA @redenigma ugh…Lieberman. What a fool he turned out to be. Manchin is as bad!
@NorCalCherylLyn Agree 100%. He's all about deregulation, no-taxes and soft on gun laws.
After the antics of Manchin, Sinema does anyone have a favorable view Manchin? Outside of West Virginia I think the only thing people know about him is that he had to get his way or would withhold support for legislation.
Some republicans may vote for him.
@KGinKS the only folks I see saying good things about him are GOPers and Dems trying to get his support for a bill. He’s almost a nonentity in Dem politics outside the Senate Chambers.
He had as much chance with the majority of Dems as RFK Jr., Marianne Williamson or Cornell West.
I respect West but he has zero chance as a 3rd party candidate.

@NorCalCherylLyn @KGinKS Thes 3rd party candidates can, cumulatively, have the same chilling effecting on Biden's electoral results that Jill Stein had in 2016. In the so-called midwestern Blue Wall states that Clinton lost, Stein's votes made up the difference between Clinton and Trump's votes. IOW, Stein cost Clinton the election. There are other reasons for that, as well, but the naked numbers show that Stein was the spoiler. At least two, maybe more of these "dems" will run 3rd party.
@GlennS @KGinKS it’s definitely a concern!! I’m expecting (hoping) them to flame out early enough to not be that kind of problem. BUT ya never know! 2016 is the best example of that. 🫨
To me the No Labels group are just MAGAlite. Considering that deeper I’m getting more concerned…
I believe Biden is the Country’s best hope for a better future. I’m hoping the DNC and their PACS make that point loudly and often. #zerocomplacency
@NorCalCherylLyn Dems are no more going to vote Manchin than they are RFKjr. both might pull some right wingnut votes
