A smile for tonight: when I went to Aldi yesterday to buy zucchini to cook, I found this giraffe whose name is now Zucchini and who is one of the stuffies in my classroom - because sophomore football players apparently like hugging stuffies.

I hang out online w a lot of dog owners who speak British or British-influenced English and this may have rubbed off on me from them. Since I am ESL, I am not too discerning about this.
