It's time to shake tail and get on the bounce! I've editing to do, running to do, work to do... Lots to do!

Good night groovy souls! It's been a busy day, and its time to rest.

There is always hope, always a coming dawn. On the darkest day we have the blessing of each others hearts to light the way. On our brightest day, those beacons only add to our joys.

Onward, toward the dawn!

I cannot control the damage being done outside of my control, but by being aware and present, I can stand ready as a healer, and a listener. I am not in control of the anger or the division outside of me, but by focusing within and healing what is within, I am ready to be present for those around me.

The most gentle of waves still travel across the ocean, and are the reflections of currents that move between continents. What starts within, will manifest without.

As I was sitting in meditation this morning, the thought drifted by that meditation is not magic, it is a method. It is much like running.

At the start, running can be quite hard, but over time, with disciplined effort, endurance, form, and focus improves. From which, one finds joy.

Meditation is, in a way, a full focus and awareness on what one can control. By directing our effort towards these things, we can begin to effect what is outside our control.

I'm going to journal a while, do the dishes and lay down to rest.

May we all join together and ask the Gods for peace to reign.

The dawn always comes.

It's going to be ok. All wars end. The guns will one day fall silent, and some day I do believe they will fall silent for good.

In the meantime, what we can do is choose to be kind to ourselves, and to each other. We can love fiercely, forgive, and we can be there to hold one another, and light the dark nights.

Desmond Doss, was a medic in WW2 and one of my heroes. He refused to carry a weapon, saved many, and won the medal of honor.
