Good morning groovy souls!

I'm slowly getting my paws back under me. Last week was a lot. I'm looking at getting back on the treadmill, I did some cleaning yesterday, kind of like taking the first steps after a surprise forest fire.

Sorry I haven't been around here much. All of my routines and coping mechanisms kind of went sideways and I spent a week eating pretzels.

Good morning groovy souls.

Feeling better today, overall. I've been hitting the grass a bit to hard, not to mention the snacks, but there is at least a feeling of equilibrium this morning.

"As much as I wish things were different, this is where I am right now"

It's time to take a deep breath, acknowledge the stress, and take the next steps, no matter how big or small they are.

Prognostications of the next 4 years fly, but I think its important to remember that we are always the X factor.

I'll look at bringing it on live in December, giving me a chance to have a few articles ahead.

I started a substack a while back and haven't known what to do with it.

I'm going to start writing about the shape my life is about to take. I am serious and have plans to leave the country in January. In the next one to two years, we are hoping to sell the house and start over.

My husband is planning on wrapping things up here, while I do my wander for a while out of an abundance of caution.

So why not write about it? From these early days of prep to the experience itself?

I've said before that I felt like an American without a country. That feels especially prescient today.

Good morning groovy souls.

I feel overwhelmed by recent events this morning. The sheer magnitude of all that has happened in the last 24 hours is so far beyond me it's almost comical.

In the face of such outsized truths, the next steps seem obvious, however it feels impossible and monumental to eve begin at this point.

I should be exiting the country at the end of January and in the mean time I'm going to be getting the house as ready as I can...

Just wow... it's time.

The darker the night, the brighter the light can shine.

It will be ok. We are not alone nor divided.
