Truly sorry for worrying folks. Most days I get done, have dinner, and pass out for 5 or six hours before I'm at it again

Hello Groovy souls!

I'm still alive but my Gods have I been working hard. I've been pulling up to 20 hour days. I'm taking my buddy to her court dates, keeping house, assisting in her recovery, taking her to appointments, doing the shopping.

I'm getting time in the morning to meditate and workout, but even that is requiring a lot of focus and planning to achieve.

I'm almost done though and I'm ok. This mission, as I call them, has been among the most intense I've ever undertaken.

Sometimes a 5k feels like a marathon. Exhausted today. Yesterday was 21 hour day. Morning at court, 5 hours of driving through weather. 2 hours at the gym. Today I’m just dragging. Resting as I can. The run today had me right against the wall.

I find it irksome that kindle books are more expensive than their audio book for some reason.

You want to learn with your eyes instead of ears? I'm sorry thats a premium charge.

Good morning most groovy souls!

stats!

Today was simply a workout. No Personal bests, I went with the idea that this was a simple work day.

Work days are just as if not more important than PB days and victory days. You have to do the work to make the progress you're hoping to make. Consistent work leads to consistent results.

This is as true in the gym as it is out of the gym. The balance holds all life. Extremes will only take you to ruin.

Onward, toward the dawn!

Good morning Groovy souls!

Today is looking to be a slower day. A lot has happened in the scope of the morning since I woke up late for me (0200) but we are hopping right along.

It's a great day, because we breathe, and because we can be here to encourage and love one another.

May we make the most of it!

Onward, toward the dawn!

It's been an interesting time for my daily training.

This week my trainer app is telling me to go lighter. I only did an hour yesterday because of time restraints, and resolved to keep it at a moderate pace today.

I was idling along at six mph for my first half hour and then decided to see what I could do, and pushed a little faster.

I handled it no problem, so decided to see how fast I could sprint my final mile.

8:30... I've never been that fast

I'm frankly a bit astounded, but happy!

Let's see if we can have a better ratio of love and positivity over fear and negativity today.

Agreed?

Good morning groovy souls!

I'm feeling quite accomplished today. I ran almost 9 flat! Thats very close to 7 mph sustained for the whole hour of running.

It's the fastest I've ever been over time, and my sprint is even quicker. I was holding out at 8.5 for a couple minutes there, whittling down the seconds.

Somehow, I've found myself further down the path than I was at my peak in 2020.

The dawn always comes!

@stueytheround I have learned that all we have, truly, is this moment. Learning this I realized time is so much more precious then I ever realized. Yet our modern lives often push us to spend it recklessly

We destroy our peace, we gamble our solid now on ephemeralities, and we wonder why we are so tired, when often all we do is spend our now on what may or may not be

For all of its trouble, I am glad for the joys of this now. For the friendships I have, and that is a great treasure to hold
