My dear dad died fourteen months ago.
A large chunk of me died then too.
We were so much alike, he and I.
Walk, talk, how we laughed...
It hurts every single day.

Any father would be proud to have such a son, and as you continue, that legacy will only grow until it's your time to cross the far horizon.
One does not need children to be remembered, and you are certain to not be forgotten. Though I hope it's many years before we have to worry about such.
