People talk alot about the need to go out, and find a community.

Here's the thing. I did not have many friends growing up and spent most of my first 18 years pretty isolated.

I had a community for the first time in college, but I had a community I connected more with online.

For the last 20 years, most of my friends and socialization that I do has come from behind a screen. It's much more comfortable for me, I can control the pace and rate of interaction. If I need a break I can just go quiet
