I still have an account on Twitter because I interact with a lot of super people, but I don't know if I can stay there much longer. It's like, would I go to a party at a person's place that I know to be a total scumbag? The answer is "no" so every day I stay on that platform it feels like I am not being true to myself.

@EdgeOErin I'm feeling more and more torn. I'm loving it here, and on Mastodon. I'm connecting with new folks and making new connections.

There are people I care about on that site, but it's clear its becoming something toxic. That doesn't mean I have to be toxic though. It doesn't mean I can't choose to be better there.

In some ways that may be especially important, as it's falling to dark to point towards a brighter way.

@EdgeOErin There comes a point where the battle is done though. Where my effect is limited. Engagement is already off a cliff...
