This is me to a T. All of it except the apology at the end lmao

I can't wait! Sadly, I won't be going to any spring training games like I wanted to. The day they announced tickets I went to check it out. Cheapest tickets were $103 and that was before any of the fees. GTFOH. Spring training tickets should be 1/2 that price or even 1/4. These are practice games that don't really mean much once they go home to play for real. I love my boys but JFC, greedy mofos. I have no other choice now but to go and see their A team.

I found out yesterday that I have a family member—now retired and living in a small town—who is a stealthy angel.

They live very modestly and have an unassuming appearance so no one expects or suspects

But they overhear someone needing a new washer? They make it happen.

Need new tires? Back brace? Hearing aides?

Jus a little reminder that there’s good folks out there making a difference daily.

Goodnight all. Democracy is worth fighting for. I'm an unapologetic praying Christian. Tonight I'm praying for decency, for respect for women, for the brave people of Ukraine, for peace for our Palestinian & Israeli neighbors. The Big Lie is a lie. The Lord bless you & keep you!

Here in our little corner of the 'net, the person who runs this place is posting poetry about a man raising his sons to treat women with respect.

Meanwhile, on Capitol Hill today we had a bunch of social media CEOs once again put profits ahead of protecting kids from abuse.

One of these things is not like the other.

J of all people knows that I'm not a fanboy, but I give respect when it's earned. And it's definitely earned.

Thank you, :jester:
