Since I retired, I have TIME to do both! Anyone else enjoy getting back to nature? I get so much blowback from people, telling me it’s not safe for me as a woman, etc. But since I started doing it, my stress levels are lower and my happiness with life is greater.

I mostly adventure solo (with my dog). I recently learned about Women on the Fly. They have some outings in the Midwest, where I live. Pondering joining. Have either of you heard of it?

I have, I have joined their FB group, but there aren’t any groups nearby. We have kind of created our own friends group of campers. Very informal, very impulsive.

And I seem to have the impression they don’t allow dogs on their adventures, but I may be wrong. I think I read that.

I found an Illinois group. Yes, they allow dogs at most events. What I may do is Sisters on the TRY - you can attend one event without being a member, to see if they are a good fit.
