My best friend’s daughter. After being evicted from their apartment, cervical cancer, now this.
All the kids are safe, dad was away for work, they did lose one of the dogs, but walked away with the clothes on their backs.

They are adjusting.
One of the little ones is showing signs of PTSD. Another one is one the spectrum and is clinging to pawpaw (grandpa), which is ok for a while.
Daughter is diving into school work to enact avoidance mode. But her dark humor is making an appearance so she should be good.
