Why does the Amazon driver insist on ringing my doorbell, when he can hear my dogs barking?

I mean I can’t even hear it over their chorus, but you do you.

Ringing the doorbell is the way to let you know something is outside for you and hopefully you get to it before someone tries to steal it.

@MrsBentoBako i use the second address line to state - if you hear the barking don't ring the bell. has worked around 90%.

Our doorbell sends a message to our phones so we can get the package before the porch pirates do. It isn't necessary to hear the ring.

Mine is a traditional doorbell. It goes ding dong in the house. I have no reason for it really. I have a K9 doorbell. It goes off when the neighbor down the street closes their car door. 🤦🏼‍♀️

@AlphaCentauri
It’s not necessary to ring my doorbell. I know you’re there, not just by the barking dogs, but the huge wall of windows. My doorbell is from 1958 as are my windows.
