I wish more people could accept the fact that I can be for kind's sake.
I enjoy helping people. I love to give of myself, it fills me with joy. I ask for nothing in return, except that you pay it forward.

My niece's bestest friend is Celiac and Lactose intolerant..
She came to Christmas Dinner, we had lasagna.
I made her her own dinner and made sure that all her allergens were avoided so she would not suffer, then I let her take the ingredients home.
That made me happy and she did not suffer. Then I bought her a $50 bottle of whiskey as a present. 😂
@MrsBentoBako One of the players in my #dnd game can't have corn. Or any derivative (think dextrose, etc).
I typically bring dessert type food.
I'll go shopping with a list, check labels, take photos of possible ingredients, and text those to her husband. He tells me yes or no.
No one cares in the group. We'd rather have things be 'Vicki safe' (her term!) than not.
@MrsBentoBako Exactly.
My reward is seeing someone else's day get brighter.
It's worth the extra time to make something I know a friend with a rather problematic food allergy can eat.
It's not about what they could give me later. It's what makes them happy now.
