So..... The saga continues. I called my insurance guy to get a rental car on Saturday, he was confused, because he thought the windshield guys were coming out to us on Monday. So he calls me this morning and leaves a message. I call him back and leave a message, I REALLY wanted to just say "Phone tag you're it," but I refrained.
So apparently, the gal I talked to on Friday, did not input the claim for the truck. So I had to go over it again with Rick this morning.

Yeah get to relive it and so now I have to wait even longer for the adjuster to get out to look at it.

::leSigh::

So I go down to get my GOOD sunglasses that I forgot to get out on Friday and a few other things and drag the hubs along to get a look at the truck. I get mu shades and then proceed to sit on them and break the fricken arm.

::leSigh::

Looking under the truck in the daylight , it is so much worse than I thought.

Rear brake separated.
Leaf spring weld sheared from frame.
Leaf springs bent.
I have photos I will post in a bit.
Bed pushed into cab, of course.
Collision guy would not speculate, good politics there. But I'm guessing, new rear end, new bed, new paint all over just to make it match.
Talked to my sales guy that sold me the truck originally, yes he is still there after 3 years, and he is putting feelers out for another one with the same specs. I told him it didn't have to be the same color.
