He has rehired an officer that lost an appeal to get his job back after stalking his ex-girlfriend.

Caren Carl Mandoyan has been stripped of his badge and gun again after being rehired by Villanueva. He was originally hired as an aide to the Sheriff’s campaign. He was fired for domestic violence allegations.
