@Mikethewander1 that's interesting. It was a scholastic and "cultural" difference. I've seen that. Very common issues.

@Mikethewander1 true, true. Hypocrisy runs rampant. May I ask what portion of study changed your mind? I'm always curious as to how people decide to follow or unfollow religion

@Mikethewander1 the sad truth of it is that they aren't truly religious. By definition they aren't even Christians. These are cultists who worship themselves and make special efforts to "choose your own adventure" the bible in order to serve themselves. We'll need to find a way to protect government from any religion, cult, or conspiracy theorists in order to keep democracy

@Mikethewander1 exactly this. Mutual respect is mandatory, not optional. I agree with you completely that everyone needs to mind their business. It's ok to use personal morals to guide decisions and votes for themselves, but not to inflict on others. Goes without saying but this pertains to religious and non religious people

@Mikethewander1 to be fair, the same could be said I'm reverse. I've seen plenty of atheist/agnostic/"spiritual" people dismiss various religions due to lack of scientific proof, and act rude about it. I've always said believe what you want as long as you're not rude or hurting anyone. That's better than picking on religion or lack thereof

@ashertheowl @peeppeepcircus exactly. It's a hard nut to crack, but it'll need to be done. We can't move forward with the current broken practices

@Juhstin given what the last one did, Nixon looks like a boyscout. No pardon is necessary, required, responsible, or possible... Not without breaking democracy and rule of law

@peeppeepcircus we also can't forget that many areas have been gerrymandered and suppressed to guarantee a win. The voice of the people hasn't truly been heard

@2Echo68Whiskey is the other person seriously taking reviews from people on twitter as legitimate? Less than half of the bad reviews are from trolls or rule violaters and the bulk are from those who are trying to talk trash about coso to get brownie points for twitter or mastadon

@john_b wow, that's crazy. I'm sorry you had to suffer through that. Fingers crossed it burns off all the way at autocross🀞

@john_b wow... That's awful. The video looks pretty intense. Hopefully it burns off sooner rather than later

@brian64 one would imagine change would start at home: paying his employees well and not running them to death

@DBC I'm not sure. I mean, he did reference music and "gymnastics" being important, but that is about it. Maybe it was more of a mandela thing?

@DBC this one always drives me crazy. I see people attribute it to Plato from the republic, but it's not there. The only sources I ever find is people saying that Plato said it. Never sources. I love the sentiment, but the fact checking bug won't let me rest
