If you have visible tattoos and you book a commercial or TV show, know that an actor’s tattoos will either need to be covered OR you must provide a release from your tattoo artist(s) before you can appear on camera. Even if the images on your body have not been copyrighted by the artist, production companies and their clients are generally not going to risk a lawsuit by displaying them on screen without written consent.
@FrankCannon bloke was just mad you had more skin in the game.
@MrGoat 😂 😂 Not a single one here,never will be.My Dad promised me when I joined the army that if I got one,he'd remove it with a Stanley knife.Also pointed out that they're great for identifying you if you decide on a life of crime.😂 Dunno why he felt the need to tell me that.
@FrankCannon @MrGoat
My dad retired from the Navy after 30 years. There wasn't a part of his body that wasn't tattooed. Even places a man should never get one. He had them on the tops of his feet, his back, everywhere. And since he was married 6 times, he had a bunch just to cover his last wife's name. But he never got one that was visible when he was in uniform.
I've never followed his example in any respect.
@MrGoat What if its letters of an alphabet?
@MrGoat My guy won't care. I have the Japanese Kanji for the word Reiki. Plus I traded him a Hearse for my tattoo and any in the future.
