We finished our Kindergarten “family project” diorama of kiddo’s dream bedroom. It was stressful. There were whole-family debates over tape vs. glue and pencil vs. marker.

I’m pretty sure we crushed it on this cozy corner complete with strewn books, a plate of breakfast and a juice box by the bean bag.

In case you need to smile today… take a moment out in nature. Smell the roses. Feed the birds.

Almost done sewing my L’oeuf bag (pattern by Sew Liberated.) But I broke two needles in the same spot and can’t find my backup supply. 😭

Last night we were talking about how much people are trying to monetize the eclipse. My dad joked about his old store (retired) would be selling stupid shirts. Then I went to giant eagle today for more eggs… spotted this…next to a stack of moon pies.
🤣

Hubs brought home a 5lb bag of potatoes so Mom and I could make my aunt’s potato salad tonight. The recipe calls for 3lbs of potatoes. This, Folks, is 3 lbs of potatoes. OMG 😆 🥔 🥔 🥔

Some days I wake up looking like Louis XIV. Some days I wake up with stunning curls on one side and limp strings on the other. Some days I say, I’m just going to chop it all off. Then when my mind is made up to chop it all off, I wake up, look in the mirror and I’m like, “omg stop.”

My hair is so vindictive.

When I got home from work, my love bug treated me to a spa day, complete with a lengthy hair brushing appointment, cucumber eye chill, and a mani/pedi followed up with fresh homemade cucumber mint lemonade. It was adorable and exactly what I needed.

Went to bed with wet hair. Too tired to diffuse last night. Woke up looking like King Louis XIV.
