Jam packed day, today. Appointments for everyone. Dentist for kiddo. Hematologist for me (yikes.) And annual checkup for the hubs. All back to back. Canāt wait to get back home, already. We havenāt even left for the first yet.
@LnzyHou Iām trying so hard to do exactly that. Itās just hardāI worked on a leukemia unit for 9 years. And now my white blood cell count and neutrophils have been elevated the last three times theyāve checked CBC+diff. Not nearly as elevated as the average hospitalized leukemia patient but still enough to make me worry.
I am hoping that they chalk it all up to stress. And not anything wrong with my thyroid, an autoimmune thing or anything cancerous. š
Keep breathing.
@LnzyHou pretty sure hypochondria is a side effect of working in the hospital.
@MotherDucker @LnzyHou Side effect of medical training, every study includes symptoms we all have at times. Don't forget how you feel is important, not just statistics.
I hope everyone has great results! It's a lot, but there's something to be said for getting it all over with in one day.
Just pls remember one thing too many of us forget - self care. Give yourself a break as soon as you can.
