At this morning’s reproductive endocrinology appointment, I asked the ultrasound tech if there was any chance I would have to come in on Sunday for the IUI. She says, nooo we are closed on Sunday. So they’ll probably have you on Monday. “Cool, cause I work weekends.”
This afternoon my fertility nurse calls and says inject tonight, schedule IUI for Sunday. “What? Sunday? For real?” It’s gotta be Sunday.

Call work. Boss (who is aware of my fertility journey) is on LOA so I need to follow up with the manager covering her. So yeah… I get to ask freaking Tim, who doesn’t know me from Eve, if I can have 4 hrs off to have my uterus injected with freshly washed sperm. 😳 Because that’s not at all awkward to ask of a stranger.
