Microsoft has a market cap presently of over $3 trillion dollars. TRILLION! How? Their platform was crippled by a vendor two months ago, and they have announced TWO upcoming reorganizations. The market somehow believes in this hapless leadership team? What am I missing?

One of the YouTube people I like is a Canadian fellow who does all manner of restorations on old knackered tools. His deal is called Hand Tool Rescue. He sells a few things too- like reproductions of old style adjustable wrenches and so on. They’re not exactly cheap, but I bought one and absolutely love it.
Today, I’m an effort to protect it from rust from my sweaty mitts, I applied some fine bluing paste. Before/after images:

You know, the band Journey was REALLY good before that nasally pop Steve Perry guy showed up. The album “Next” from 1977 is more of a prog rock/fusion kind of vibe and makes me wish they’d kept on that track.
I look forward to the day that we make first contact with space aliens, and discover that they don’t call our galaxy “The Milky Way”. They find that kind of gross and lurid. They call our galaxy (phonetically of course) “Mrs. Bostwick”
The strange state of candy bars has news. The UK will be getting the “Marathon” bar back. For them, that was a Snickers before they called it Snickers. In the US, we had a Marathon bar too, but that was more like a Curly Wurly (which we don’t get).
