@duglop I remember these from friends houses. My folks were of the view that futuristic things should look futuristic. Neither the TV or the stereo were furniture. Probably because of that choice and the associated costs of novelty, I never had an Atari. Or a Big Trak.

Our couch was ugly in a different way. I hate brown textiles to this day.
