What does the Respect for Marriage Act do? The answer will vary by state.
Understand that this, while an important law, is still very much short of actual equality.
This does not mean that, if the Court were to overturn Obergefell, same-sex marriage would remain possible in all states. It only means that if you *are* married, every state must recognize that marriage as legal.

Big regret I didn’t go in to get tamiflu when I first got sick—just works early on.
I had too much faith in the flu shot, first time in 40 years it didn’t protect me from this level of illness.
But maybe I can be the canary to others. Get tested for flu right away and get on an antiviral.

Wanting to fill out my profile (just did a minimum when I first joined). According to User Guide, my display name is supposed to be visible above the post box. It isn't. To access my profile, I've been clicking on my display name in posts that I've written. Can I create a permanent (stand alone) profile column?

@ranch_cat The 1963 version starred Claire Bloom and Julie Harris. Anthony Lane, New Yorker film critic, wrote about how how director Robert Wise created such psychological tension that viewers could be freaked out by “doors … that open…and …close.” Scared the shit out of me. I was 10.
