Caught a meteor during tonight's meteor shower, going across the left side of the aurora. Have always wanted to get a meteor and aurora in the same shot, bingo!! New Auburn, Wisconsin.
@MisterE @TheAbbotTrithemius Oh wow, look at that sky! The colours are so bold and striking!!! The auroras are something on my bucket list, but they've just always been elusive for me so far... hopefully some day. 🙂

New Auburn, WI is located about 35 miles north of Eau Claire. Go up 2/3 of the state from the WI/Illinois border on the south, and you will find New Auburn. That means the aurora has been sinking down more south. Pretty cool.

Actually expected by the weather people in the know that this dip south of the aurora had a good chance of happening.

Also, would still like to visit the Scandinavian countries to get sight of their auroras.
@MisterE I agree! I love how there's different colours seen depending on where you are too. From my understanding of what i've read about them, those pinks you saw are pretty rare in our area of the world. 🙂
