@guinnessphil He never knew how to write a bad song. Incredible. Almost 50 years later, there's still that sense of what could have been.

Throw out every Republican who offers "thoughts and prayers" after a school mass shooting instead of votes to ban assault weapons.

Regulations do not exist for the people who are responsible.

They exist for the idiots who aren't.

🎵 It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood... 🎵

Alki Beach,

I cannot possibly fathom a less-educated, un-self-aware, and uncultured citizenry anywhere than . JFC.

They couldn't care less about kids. It's unbridled vindictiveness, spite, and hypocrisy, all wrapped up in a raging dumpster fire of victimhood.
And they know exactly what they're doing.

First day of spring is in the books!

I hope my favorite time of year provides you great renewal in all areas of your lives!

1: Yes, people who break the law are routinely arrested. Anyone who breaks the law is at risk of being arrested. So yea, it can happen to you, and that’s not controversial to say.

2: Getting arrested for breaking the law happens in non-authoritarian countries as well.

3: Bottom line, no one’s above the law, if you don’t want to be arrested then don’t break the law.

@JohnnyGenX: This very thing going on the last several years is the part of the history of democracies and republics that are unfashionable and don't get taught in schools, except for the Nazis in Germany in the 1930s.

The actual American political history is ugly, petty, corrupt AF, violent, and chock full of all kinds of press arms various parties printing lies, more lies, libelous stuff, and other yellow journalism. Same for practically all of Europe. Same for Central and South America.

There are always billions immediately available for warfare or to bail out banks, but never any money available for universal health care or good schools.

I don't blame Montgomery one bit for exposing the corrupt Floriduh state government for willful disinformation campaign they're spreading.
I'd call out DeSantis's comms team who leaked the email reply in the first place. They know what they're doing. should be giving Ben a raise instead of a pink slip.

Understand, this event was one of countless examples that prove conservatives and the neo-Nazis, Proud Boys, and every other hate group they make excuses for are never -- and never will be -- the "victims" they suddently claim to be whenever they get pushback for their hateful rhetoric and disgraceful conduct.
Such conduct is the nightmare of our grandparents who sacrificed their lives in the TRUE name of freedom 80 years ago.

@GreenCheese I gave up trying to do the math on that years ago.
