This day in history after 13 days being under siege the defenders of the Alamo are killed to a man by the Mexican army. Back in 1936 some remains were found near the altar in the San Fernando Cathedral believed to be the remains of Col. William Travis, David Crockett and Jim Bowie among with the other defenders.
