@InUnfunky AL Team: Orioles (used to live a couple blocks from old Memorial Stadium during the Ripken bros years)
NL Team: Atlanta Braves (fandom passed down from every grandmother, step-grandmother, honorary grandmother in my life).
I despise the DH, hate the pitching clock, and refused to watch MLB for 25 years after the 1994 players strike. I’m back …
Oh shit
Hardcore...
My cards on the table --
FL boy. Played Little League in '77, '78. Liked the Reds cuz Morgan, Rose, Bench. No way in Hell I was gonna like the Braves (no offense) cuz my granddad, my step-grandad, my stepdad were all ATL fans. 😆 As a Spring Training kid I was brought up being fickle -- in the Tpa area I could see how many teams? and did.
No, I am not a (Devil) Rays fan and would never be a Fish fan.
Moving to the NE was advantageous in many ways. LOL
@InUnfunky Gonna assume you’re not a Yankees fan (although I realize how wrong I could be), so we can still be friends. 😂 🤫
Why? Cuz the Spanks train in Tpa?
Your assumption is CORRECT!
Although I did watch/listen to Cone's perfect game. 🤓
My spring training mentality has mostly remained intact; there were Francona years that I leaned Sawx (and attended more than a few games at "Fenway South," AKA Camden Yahds -- I even took the tour!) but no since Cora. Back to a fence-sitter with "provisional" leanings...which this year (heh) happen to be LA and SD.
Right, @Mfieck 🤓 😆

Friars seem to be just below boiling...hot, but not quite there. Stay tuned tho'...

Love to see this! They have the bench, but need a little luck.
