So the Chicago Bears want to build a new stadium. Sad they will be leaving historic Soldier Field, but frankly it hasn't been the same since they placed the shiny toilet seat on it.

So disappointed to find that the show Baby Reindeer doesn't in fact have any baby reindeer in it.

Good morning, @Mandypar
Is it all about horses this morning, or a royal birthday?

Good morning!
Chilly inside; just don't want to turn the heat on again. Spring is crazy weather.

Sunny and breezy.

That's the weather from the ancient Blue Ridge of VA.
Have a kind day.

Good Monday morning!
We had a freeze last night; it's 31 F heading for a 30-degree warm up. Mostly sunny.
There's a reason I don't plant until mid-May.
That's your weather from the ancient VA Blue Ridge.
Be kind today.

Gonna have a game tonight!
First time I have seen a female ump. This librarian is glad to see the opportunities to learn.

Just a quick request from y'all.
Please keep in mind that "mentally ill" people do exist here as well. Yes it's a horrible thing to see someone do what he did but not all of us are the same please have some compassion, thank you. Signed,

A pack horse librarian delivering books in rural Kentucky in 1938. During the Great Depression, the Pack Horse Library Project was a Works Progress Administration (WPA) program in which the librarians, who were often called "book women" or "book ladies," delivered books to remote parts of Appalachia.

Last night was the anniversary of calling out the MA militia to Lexington and Concord. You are probably familiar with Paul Revere's ride -- Longfellow's poem "On the 18th of April in '75, hardly a man is now alive who remembers that famous date and year of the midnight ride of Paul Revere." You might even know Billy Dawes. But do you know about Sybil Ludington's similar ride?
