A joyous Palm Sunday to those who observe. Each year my family reads the last week of Christ's life in the four gospels. The days were unsurprisingly busy.

@CherNohio
I always hum this near the end of a long trip.
Yo-Yo Ma's version of "Going home," by Antonin Dvorak: youtu.be/rrBOkHfvNSY

Windy as heck here, but so far power is on. It has the dogs rattled; it's gonna be a long night.

Welcome! You have come to a community of good people who care for each other.
We share, learn, laugh, and are often silly. We are there for each other in sadness and celebration.
We aren't here for followers or to get noticed.
We do not tolerate trolls, ugly behavior, or anything that is illegal or takes advantage.
I hope you enjoy becoming part of our group. Post a bit about yourself-- hobbies, interests -- and you will find that folks reach out.

Happy Saturday, @LlamaMountainStudioArts Rained all night here; we needed it. Getting windy again this afternoon; mor tinder sticks for my woodpile.

I wish I had a copy of tge Dictionary of American Regional English at hand.
Might not, though -- the etymology of the term from Oxford Language: early 20th century: from the postcard caption β€˜The Adventures of Nosey Parker’, referring to a peeping Tom in Hyde Park.

How different are our musical tastes?
I am humming Neil Sedaka's "Breaking up is hard to do" while my hubby was listening to Led Zeppelin's "The immigrant song".

Morning, @CherNohio
Glad you got to visit my old stomping ground, so beautiful.

Good morning, @Minholkin! Happy Saturday!
Raining here, but pickup day for our Salem Red Sox tickets.

Some people talk to animals. Not many listen, though. That's the problem.
Winnie the Pooh

OK you nosey Parkers, she's told you what is happening. Now shut your yaps, leave her alone and let her heal.

Today's is "2 o'clock jump" by Harry James and his Orchestra from 1939.
I love Harry's bright trumpet; take a listen, you will be glad you did!

The challenge is to choose 20 albums that greatly influenced my taste in music. One album per day, for 20 consecutive days. No explanations, no reviews, just covers. (Unless you ask...)
Day 17

Do all archivists have such dry hands? Is it just the nature of the budiness?

Good Friday morning to you all!
A chilly 30 F this morning. Sunrise, then clouds moving in and rain and 55 F later. The last few days of dry, windy conditions have spread wildfires that the rain will hopefully put out.
Up and at 'em early today-- annual mammogram.
Preventative care is self care! Do it!
That's weather from the ancient Blue Ridge. Share kindness today and have a wonderful weekend!
