Last Friday @georgecmarshall
gave the Goodpaster award to Gen. James McConville, who like Gen. George Marshall served as Army Chief of Staff.

Elizebeth & her husband, William, invented the science of cryptology. She worked as the chief cryptanalyst for the Coast Guard breaking codes during Prohibition; & for the Navy locating Nazi spies during . Elizebeth was a federal employee 20 years, but was always temporary.
