@quietphysicist
My son just finished his master in data science at University of Arizona -- he works with ML and some NLP.

At the end of January, I always pay tribute to the NASA astronauts lost in Apollo 1, Challenger, and Columbia.
I remember them all.

In 1911, went off to college at a time when many women didn't complete high school. She didn't get a free ride, however -- her father paid for her schooling, but she had to pay him back with interest.
She majored in English literature and fell in love with Shakespeare, which would create an important turning point in her life.

Happy Friday!
It's 60 F outside, heading for a partly cloudy 75 F today. Crazy weather.
Opening the windows to air out the house.
Rain moves in tonight and continues tomorrow.
Enjoy this really nice day!

I know this is a rough time for you; sending much love.

I'm working on an operations manual for the called "what I do and how I do it." Such a document is important for all librarians, but vital for lone arrangers like me. Let's face it, most folks don't have a clue what I actually do.

Good rainy morning!
Rain today and temps in the 60s. Crazy when you think how cold it was just a few days ago. A solid January thaw presages a successful syrup season.
Carry your bumbershoots and make it a great day.
Sending love from the ancient Blue Ridge.

Old German cast-on feels like playing one- woman Jacob's ladder.

Roberts worked long hours with material from the collections to become Marshall -- his voice, posture, attitude, and dress. There's a meet-and-greet before the film, & a chance for attendees to take a photo with Roberts & Frank McCarthy's Patton Oscar.
Roberts will also answer audience questions after the film.
Don't you wish you were able to attend?

JackJack's big radar-dome ears are out of commission.
He had infected ears, 1st time in the 8 years he has been ours, & infection healed but now he's deaf. He can only hear big sounds like dropping a pan in the kitchen.
He can't hear me tell him what a good boy he is; he can't hear us call him inside; he can't hear the lid on the food bin.
His world, previously full of interesting sounds that he listened to even in sleep has gone silent.
I can see the confusion on his beautiful face.

Good humpday morning!
Rain moves in with scattered showers and heavier rain tomorrow. It's 36 F heading into the 50s with higher temps on Friday.
Crazy weather from the ancient Blue Ridge.
Make it a great day!

I had a meeting so tonight's pun is late- here it is:
