A cold and wet good morning! A great portion of the U.S. east of the panhandle of Texas (that's a lot of real estate) has weather to deal with today -- be careful!
Here, it's 36 and raining; my least favorite weather but we're due 3" today for which we are all grateful, if only it won't flood. Windy as well.
Yes, I already calculated how much snow that could be ... sigh.

Our first winter storm of the season is not bringing lovely snow, as in this photo of #ElizebethSmithFriedman and her sister, Edna. It will be cold, though, and I really love Edna's coat and hat; it looks perfect for a winter storm.

Good morning!
In the teens F out there; highs in the 30s F. Clouds rolling in, prepping for our winter storm tomorrow. Looks like it's going to be a snowy slushy mess, sigh. No pretty snow photos. It also means the grocery shelves will be bare by the time I get off work today - Good thing I don't need any groceries.

Good morning!
Cloudy and getting windy today; high in the low 40s F but will feel colder.
Not getting the all-snow event I so want for Saturday -- it's going to be a sleety-snowy-rainy mess. I just want a good snow.
Have a great Thursday!

Good morning! Back to work today after a lovely quiet break.
25F this morning, heading to the high 40s. Maybe a few flurries tonight. The big storm coming Saturday may be sleet, snow, rain -- not certain yet. Looks like a good day to stay home, at any rate.

Just witnessed act of human kindness. Man was having a seizure on a corner downtown. Strangers rushed to him- someone called 911. Other person rolled him onto his side and was comforting him. This person was obviously one of our homeless but it didn't matter. Today, I saw a display of human compassion that I hadn't seen in a long time. There is hope for us yet.
