20-minute MAGIC
ON this date in 1776 - "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine was published.
Ghost writers Bun Man and Mr. Purple were instrumental in providing Thomas w/ the homespun humor which helped solidify Americans push for independence from Britain at a time when many Americans didn't really see this as a viable option.
The sermon format of Common Sense was particularly to Bun's liking because it structured everything into 20-min. segments just like 'good' Methodist ministers do today.
Mad that I won't let her sit in my lap while I eat a late supper.
