I have never seen Saving Private Ryan, on purpose. My dad was on Dog Red on Omaha June 6, and I lived in Bedford, VA many years and know the families of the Bedford Boys.
It's being shown at work Saturday, so I thought it best to watch the beach scene and have the ugly cry in private.

@MelissaHDavis You absolutely do that. You watch it in private, have a cry, hold a hand and have your favorite snacks with you. That is your family history and deserves to be memorialized...
