@MelissaHDavis the author of the bill (State Senator for my district) is a religious nut and I think he homeschools his kids anyway so they have no chance of getting exposed to a different point of view. They claim to love freedom but want to remove choices &force their beliefs onto everyone in the state. My former (due to becoming a religious zealot) friend is part of that group. There are a few of them in the state legislature now, they all attend the same church. The hypocrisy is astounding.

I mean, really? Every time I see someone trying to squash ideas and words, I am reminded immediately of Nazis and wonder how we got to a place where this is a good idea in the mainstream United States?
