@MelissaHDavis Should be a nice one today! A neighbor a mile away has offered me some clover seed so I'll walk over around lunchtime to get it ("Buy Nothing Group.) Definitely a windows-open day!

Our "lawn" is mostly clover with whatever grasses grow up. We like it that way -- one of the perks to living rural.

Where I live there are no "stickers" in the yard as long as I keep the thistle out.
Further down south, though, we dealt with stickers and fire ants.

Ouch! When I lived in Phoenix, my little dog Godiva <think Toto> ran out & got these on her feet and all she could do was fall over on her side! She didn't do that but once!
Poor baby. I had to carry her home & pick them all off her.
