A nice start to the day; chilly morning, but warming a bit. Rain begins about the time school lets out, of course, and gets heavier as night falls. Expecting 1.5", on ground already saturated so water on roads and streams jumping banks.
I am driving to PA in the middle of it. Yay.

@MelissaHDavis Safe Travels! I'm noticing our forecast for low-teens early next week, thinking I should somehow protect the new fig trees. The roots will be fine but I'd like the branches to make it through and not have to start over again in spring.
