This should be the first Shakespeare play folks should read. Not R&J.
@MelissaHDavis My first was Macbeth, which suited 13 year old me perfectly.
@MelissaHDavis @stueytheround , we put MND on for our whole grade middle school play. R&J was required reading for Freshman English, but we also read Westside Story and watched the movies and were required to write a paper about them both. Macbeth was read in Psychological Novel class. (Probably showing my age here.)
@MelissaHDavis Oh he was *magnificent* in that movie. Had me and Mum nearly falling out of the chairs in the theatre we were laughing so hard!
