I was blindsided by a document before the board meeting at noon, have to wrangle retired Cols and Gens on to the appropriate shuttle this evening, participate in a big awards ceremony tonight, be absolutely cheerful, polite, and unflappable and look good all day.
Today, I shall be channeling every flight attendant in America.
